Second Skin

There is a legend in Ireland that tells of seals who can remove their skin and take on human form: they are called Roan. Their skin is the Roan’s most valuable possession. Should that skin be lost or stolen, the punishment will be severe.

Moira is a Roan of Aran, on a mission to rescue the lost skin of her best friend, the crown princess of the seals. Time is running short and Moira must find her way in the human world—a world she barely knows, which has long since forgotten the existence of her kind.

As her quest unfolds, Moira befriends people every bit as magical as herself. They must work together to solve the mystery of the stolen skin, while darker magical forces lie in wait.
